“OUR CHURCH NEEDS CHRISTIANS OF FAITH”
SCRIPTURE
READING: MATTHEW 25:14-30
SCRIPTURE
TEXT: Ecclesiastes
9:10 (KJV)
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no
work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom,
in the grave, whither thou goest.
INTRO:
This is the first sermon in a series on
Stewardship.
STEWARD: One employed in a large
household or estate to manage domestic
concerns.
STEWARDSHIP: the office, duties, and
obligations of a steward, the conducting,
supervising, or managing of something, the
careful and responsible management of
something entrusted to ones’ care.
The human
body is made up of many parts; each one has
a very important role in making the body
whole.
1
Corinthians 12:12-14, 23-27 (KJV)
For as the body is one, and hath many
members, and all the members of that one
body, being many, are one body: so also is
Christ. For by one Spirit are we all
baptized into one body, whether we be Jews
or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and
have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
For the body is not one member, but many…and
those members of the body, which we think to
be less honourable, upon these we bestow
more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts
have more abundant comeliness. For our
comely parts have no need: but God hath
tempered the body together, having given
more abundant honour to that part which
lacked: that there should be no schism in
the body; but that the members should have
the same care one for another. And whether
one member suffer, all the members suffer
with it; or one member be honoured, all the
members rejoice with it. Now ye are the
body of Christ, and members in particular.
Each
member of the Church has an important role
in helping the Church function as God
intended it.
For our
church to be a successful church we need
Christians of FAITH.
I. WHAT
DOES IT MEAN; CHRISTIANS OF FAITH?
Hebrews
11:6 (KJV)
But without
faith it is impossible to please him: for he
that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him.
NOTE:
The Church is not a physical building or
even a group of men and women.
The
Church is not made up physically but rather
spiritually.
There are
several things that set a Christian of
FAITH apart from those who just call
themselves Christians.
-
Christians of FAITH
believe and accept the Word of God as
truth with no errors.
-
Christians of FAITH
believe the Jesus Christ is the only Son
of God.
-
Christians of FAITH
believe that salvation is only through
the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the
cross and through His resurrection.
-
Christians of FAITH
those who have a personal relationship
with God.
-
Christians of FAITH
also believe that God has placed them in
a particular body of believes to serve
Him as stewards in whatever capacity He
sees fit.
II. WHAT
ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A CHRISTIAN OF
FAITH?
A.
FAITHFUL
1
Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
A Christian
of FAITH is one who is faithful in every
aspect of his Christian walk.
1.
Faithful in reading and studying God’s Word.
2.
Faithful in prayer.
3.
Faithful in church attendance.
4.
Faithful in support of the church.
B.
AVAILABLE
Isaiah
6:8 (KJV)
Also I heard the voice of the Lord,
saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go
for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
NOTE:
There are those who only serve God when it
is convenient for them.
1 Cor.
12:18-20 (KJV)
But now hath God set the members every
one of them in the body, as it hath pleased
him. And if they were all one member, where
were the body? But now are they many
members, yet but one body.
Romans
12:1 (KJV)
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the
mercies of God, that ye present your bodies
a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto
God, which is your reasonable service.
Sometimes
we are so involved in our physical
activities we don’t have time for our
spiritual obligations.
A
Christian of FAITH makes themselves
available to God for service.
C.
INSPIRED
NOTE:
We need Christians of FAITH who are
inspired (driven) by the Spirit of God to
fulfill the task God has given them.
Luke
8:38-40 (KJV)
Now the man out of whom the devils were
departed besought him that he might be with
him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,
Return to thine own house, and shew how
great things God hath done unto thee. And he
went his way, and published throughout the
whole city how great things Jesus had done
unto him. And it came to pass, that, when
Jesus was returned, the people gladly
received him: for they were all waiting for
him.
This man
had no training yet many came because he
witnessed for Jesus.
The woman
at the well did the same thing.
John 4:39
And many of
the Samaritans of that city believed on him
for the saying of the woman, which
testified, He told me all that ever I did.
D.
TEACHABLE
NOTE:
A
Christian of FAITH knows that they
are continually learning about God and how
to serve God.
Philippians 3:12-14 (KJV)
Not as though I had already attained,
either were already perfect: but I follow
after, if that I may apprehend that for
which also I am apprehended of Christ
Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have
apprehended: but this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind,
and reaching forth unto those things which
are before, I press toward the mark for the
prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus.
The
method may change but the message must
remain the same.
E.
HOLY
Hebrews
12:14 (KJV)
Follow peace with all men, and holiness,
without which no man shall see the Lord:
NOTE:
A
Christian of FAITH is set apart to serve
God.
Romans
6:19, 22 (KJV)
I speak after the manner of men because
of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye
have yielded your members servants to
uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity;
even so now yield your members servants to
righteousness unto holiness…But now being
made free from sin, and become servants to
God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and
the end everlasting life.
Sin is repulsive to them.
CONCLUSION:
For a church
to be successful in the sight of God it is
made up of Christians of FAITH;
FAITHFULNESS, AVAILABLE, INSPIRED, TEACHABLE
AND HOLY.
Are you a
part of His Church?

“BEING
GOOD STEWARDS WITH WHAT WE HAVE”
SCRIPTURE
READING: MATTHEW 25:14-30
SCRIPTURE
TEXT: Ecclesiastes
10:18 (KJV)
By
much slothfulness the building decayeth; and
through idleness of the hands the house
droppeth through.
NOTE:
“If only walls could talk”
The word
neglect means:
to be
careless of :- make light of, neglect, be
negligent, not regard.
Neglect
is the killer of many wonderful things.
A good
steward does not allow neglect to get a
foothold.
I.
NEGLECT CAN SHOW UP IN MANY DIFFERENT
CIRCUMSTANCES.
-
In
our relationship with God
Hebrews
2:3 (KJV)
How shall we
escape, if we neglect so great salvation;
which at the first began to be spoken by the
Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that
heard him;
-
The
spiritual gifts and abilities that God
has given us.
1 Tim.
4:14 (KJV)
Neglect not
the gift that is in thee, which was given
thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the
hands of the presbytery.
-
In
our relationship with each other.
-
In
the physical items God has blessed us
with.
-
Our
homes
-
Our
cars
-
Our
tools and equipment
NOTE:
To be a good steward we must pay close
attention to all these things that can be
destroyed by neglect.
II.
SLOTHFULNESS WILL BRING DECAY AND RUIN.
NOTE:
The Bible has much to say about
slothfulness.
1.
The sluggard
has no desire to improve himself or the
things around him.
Proverbs
13:4 (NIV)
The sluggard
craves and gets nothing, but the desires of
the diligent are fully satisfied.
NOTE:
There always seems to those who just don’t
want to get involved or be bothered.
Nehemiah
3:5 (KJV)
And next
unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their
nobles put not their necks to the work of
their Lord.
2.
The Sluggard
will always find an excuse why he can’t do
the thing he should.
Proverbs
20:4 (KJV)
The sluggard will not plow by reason of
the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest,
and have nothing.
Proverbs
22:13 & 26:13 (KJV)
The slothful man saith, There is a lion
without, I shall be slain in the streets.
Matthew
25:24-25 (KJV)
Then he
which had received the one talent came and
said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an
hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown,
and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
and I was afraid, and went and hid thy
talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast
that is thine.
3.
A sluggard
believes his excuses are valid.
Proverbs
26:16 (KJV)
The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit
than seven men that can render a reason.
4.
God warns
the sluggard than in the end they will lose
everything.
Proverbs
6:6-11 (KJV)
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider
her ways, and be wise: Which having no
guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her
meat in the summer, and gathereth her food
in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O
sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy
sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little
slumber, a little folding of the hands to
sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one
that travelleth, and thy want as an armed
man.
Proverbs
24:30-31 (KJV)
I went by
the field of the slothful, and by the
vineyard of the man void of understanding;
and, lo, it was all grown over with thorns,
and nettles had covered the face thereof,
and the stone wall thereof was broken down.
ILL:
The man who wanted to join the church but
have no responsibilities.
III. A
GOOD STEWARD TREATS WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN THEM
AS A PRICELESS TREASURE.
NOTE:
The things we value we take care of.
1.
A good
steward sees what they have as a gift from
God.
James
1:17 (KJV)
Every good
gift and every perfect gift is from above,
and cometh down from the Father of lights,
with whom is no variableness, neither shadow
of turning.
NOTE:
Our attitude towards the giver of the gift
determines the value we place on the gift.
2.
A good
steward does the best he can with what he
has.
Eccles.
9:10 (KJV)
Whatsoever
thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy
might; for there is no work, nor device, nor
knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither
thou goest.
1
Corinthians 10:31 (KJV)
Whether
therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye
do, do all to the glory of God.
3.
A good
steward does his work in spite of
opposition.
Nehemiah
4:6 (KJV)
So built we
the wall; and all the wall was joined
together unto the half thereof: for the
people had a mind to work.
NOTE:
Whenever we seek to do the work of the Lord
there will be opposition.
Nehemiah
4:16-18 (KJV)
And it came to pass from that time forth,
that the half of my servants wrought in the
work, and the other half of them held both
the spears, the shields, and the bows, and
the habergeons; and the rulers were behind
all the house of Judah. They which builded
on the wall, and they that bare burdens,
with those that laded, every one with one of
his hands wrought in the work, and with the
other hand held a weapon. For the builders,
every one had his sword girded by his side,
and so builded. And he that sounded the
trumpet was by me.
4.
A good
steward will finish the work he has been
given to do.
John 17:4
(KJV)
I have
glorified thee on the earth: I have finished
the work which thou gavest me to do.
2 Timothy
4:6-8 (KJV)
For I am now
ready to be offered, and the time of my
departure is at hand. I have fought a good
fight, I have finished my course, I have
kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up
for me a crown of righteousness, which the
Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at
that day: and not to me only, but unto all
them also that love his appearing.
CONCLUSION:
What has God
given you and what have you done with what
He has given you?

“A GOOD
STEWARD IS OBEDIENT TO HIS MASTER’S WILL”
SCRIPTURE
READING: MATTHEW 7:15-27
SCRIPTURE
TEXT: Matthew
7:21 (KJV)
Not
every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord,
shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but
he that doeth the will of my Father which is
in heaven.
INTRO:
There will be many people who will be
surprised when they face eternity.
There
will be many who have done the
“Christian Thing” but will not be in
Heaven.
Matthew
7:22-23 (KJV)
Many will say to me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
And in thy name have cast out devils? And in
thy name done many wonderful works? And
then will I profess unto them, I never knew
you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
NOTE:
What are the works of iniquity? They are
the sins of omission. They failed to do the
will of God.
What does
it mean; “the will of my Father which is in
Heaven?”
There are
two different sets of “the Father’s will”:
The
person will of God is between you and God
and may be much different from others.
The
collective will of God is for all of us and
we all are responsible to make sure we are
doing God’s collective will in our lives.
God’s
Collective will for us:
-
Repentance for our sins
-
Caring for the poor
-
Bringing of our tithe into the store
house
-
Joining together with other believer for
worship and service.
I
believe there are two which are more
critical than the others.
If we
strive to fulfill these two, the rest will
fall into place.
I. WE ARE
TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
John
13:35 (KJV)
By this
shall all men know that ye are my disciples,
if ye have love one to another.
NOTE:
Loving one another is not an option, it is a
command.
John
13:34 (KJV)
A new commandment I give unto you, That
ye love one another; as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another.
The key
to Christian love is found in the last part
of this verse, “as I have loved you, that
ye also love one another.”
How has
God the Father loved us?
-
He
sent His Son to die on the cross for us
Romans
8:31-32 (KJV)
What shall
we then say to these things? If God be for
us, who can be against us? He that spared
not his own Son, but delivered him up for us
all, how shall he not with him also freely
give us all things?
-
He
loved us while we were still sinners
Romans
5:8 (KJV)
But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us.
-
He
provided a way that we could become His
child
1 John
3:1-2 (KJV)
Behold, what
manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon
us, that we should be called the sons of
God: therefore the world knoweth us not,
because it knew him not. Beloved, now are
we the sons of God, and it doth not yet
appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when he shall appear, we shall be like him;
for we shall see him as he is.
How has
Jesus the Son loved us?
-
He
became like us to experience life like
us
Hebrews
2:17-18 (KJV)
Wherefore in
all things it behoved him to be made like
unto his brethren, that he might be a
merciful and faithful high priest in things
pertaining to God, to make reconciliation
for the sins of the people. For in that he
himself hath suffered being tempted, he is
able to succour them that are tempted.
-
He
died on the cross and bore our sins
-
He is
interceding for us
NOTE:
As a good steward, we will love one another
as God has loved us.
II. WE
ARE TO SHARE THE GOSPEL WITH OTHERS.
NOTE:
A
good steward learns what the will of his
master is, and then seeks to fulfill it.
The Word
of God is filled with what the will of God
is.
Genesis
3:15 (KJV)
And I will put enmity between thee and
the woman, and between thy seed and her
seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou
shalt bruise his heel.
From the
time of the Fall, God has desired to reunite
man with Himself.
John 3:16
(KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
It was
the love God has for fallen man and His
desire to have man restored to His
fellowship that He sent His Son to redeem
fallen man.
Luke
19:10 (KJV)
For the Son of man is come to seek and to
save that which was lost.
Luke
24:46-47 (KJV)
And said unto them, Thus it is written,
and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to
rise from the dead the third day: and that
repentance and remission of sins should be
preached in his name among all nations,
beginning at
Jerusalem.
It is the
will of God that we share the Good News of
Jesus Christ with others.
John
20:21 (KJV)
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be
unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so
send I you.
Matthew
28:19-20 (KJV)
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost
teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I
am with you alway, even unto the end of the
world. Amen.
Acts 1:8
(KJV)
But ye shall receive power, after that
the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye
shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the
earth.
NOTE:
As good stewards we will become more
concerned with the spiritual needs of others
than the physical needs of ourselves.
Proverbs
24:11-12 (KJV)
If thou
forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto
death, and those that are ready to be slain;
if thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth
not he that pondereth the heart consider it?
and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he
know it? and shall not he render to every
man according to his works?
As good
stewards we will become a mission minded
church.
CONCLUSION:
We may at
times have difficulty knowing what God’s
will is for us personally, but the Bible is
very plain on what His will is for us
collectively.

“A GOOD
STEWARD’S GIVING PLEASES GOD”
SCRIPTURE
READING: 2 CORINTHIANS 9:1-7
SCRIPTURE
TEXT:
2
Corinthians 9:7 (KJV)
Every man
according as he purposeth in his heart, so
let him give; not grudgingly, or of
necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
INTRO:
Do you like to do things that make people
happy?
Would you
like to do something that would make God
happy?
Giving is
the very nature of God.
John 3:16
(KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
Romans
6:23 (KJV)
For the wages of sin is death; but the
gift of God is eternal life through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
Our
giving, whether large or small has the
potential to make God happy.
The
amount of the gift is not as important as
the heart of the giver.
Mark
12:41-44 (GW)
As Jesus sat facing the temple offering box,
he watched how {much} money people put into
it. Many rich people put in large amounts. A
poor widow dropped in two small coins, worth
less than a cent. He called his disciples
and said to them, “I can guarantee this
truth: This poor widow has given more than
all the others. All of them have given what
they could spare. But she, in her poverty,
has given everything she had to live on.”
The
attitude and purpose of our giving
determines whether or not our giving pleases
God.
ILL:
Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5)
Giving
that pleases God:
I. THEY
ARE EAGER AND READY TO GIVE.
Proverbs
3:27-28 (KJV)
Withhold not
good from them to whom it is due, when it is
in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not
unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and
to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by
thee.
NOTE:
They have the spirit of giving.
They do
not have to be begged or be forced into
giving.
Whenever
they see the need, they give.
ILL:
The widow who fed Elijah. I Kings 17
Later her
son died and God raised him back to life.
They are
willing to give even when it cost them.
2 Samuel 24:24 (KJV)
…Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a
price: neither will I offer burnt offerings
unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost
me nothing…
A gift
that cost us nothing is not truly a gift.
ILL:
The walk is part of the gift.
II. THEY
ARE PREPARED TO GIVE.
ILL:
While We’re Living.
A pig was
depressed about his lack of popularity. He
complained to the cow that people were
always taking about her gentleness and her
kind eyes, while his name was used in a
derogatory manner. He admitted that cows
give milk and cream, but he was convinced
that pigs gave more, “Why, we give bacon and
ham and pork chops, and people even pickle
our feet,” He grumbled. “I don’t see why
you cows are held in such high esteem.”
The cow
thought for a while and then said gently,
“Maybe its’, because we cows are giving
while we’re living.”
1
Corinthians 16:2 (KJV)
Upon the
first day of the week let every one of you
lay by him in store, as God hath prospered
him, that there be no gatherings when I
come.
They
honor God by preparing to give to Him before
anything else.
Proverbs 3:9-10 (KJV)
Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with
the firstfruits of all thine increase: so
shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and
thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Malachi 3:10-12 (KJV)
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse,
that there may be meat in mine house, and
prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of
hosts, if I will not open you the windows of
heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that
there shall not be room enough to receive
it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your
sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits
of your ground; neither shall your vine cast
her fruit before the time in the field,
saith the LORD of hosts. And all nations
shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a
delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
III. THEY
GIVE GENEROUSLY.
2
Corinthians 9:6 (KJV)
But this I
say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap
also sparingly; and he which soweth
bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
ILL: You
Have Got To Be Kidding
(Speaker’s Source Book pg 342)
Luke 6:38 (NLT)
If you give, you will receive. Your gift
will return to you in full measure, pressed
down, shaken together to make room for more,
and running over. Whatever measure you use
in giving—large or small—it will be used to
measure what is given back to you."
IV. THEY
GIVE JOYFULLY.
2
Corinthians 9:7 (KJV)
Every man
according as he purposeth in his heart, so
let him give; not grudgingly, or of
necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
NOTE:
God does not accept a gift from someone who
does not want to give.
Those
with a giving heart reap God’s blessings.
Proverbs 11:24-26 (NLT)
It is possible to give freely and become
more wealthy, but those who are stingy will
lose everything. The generous prosper and
are satisfied; those who refresh others will
themselves be refreshed. People curse those
who hold their grain for higher prices, but
they bless the one who sells to them in
their time of need.
CONCLUSION:
The secret of Biblical giving is knowing to
whom or to what are we giving.
If we acknowledge that we are giving to
God than our giving will reflect our love
and gratitude towards God for all He has
given to us.

“A
GREAT INGATHERING IS COMING”
SCRIPTURE
READING: ISAIAH 43:5-13
SCRIPTURE
TEXT: Isaiah 43:5-6 (KJV)
Fear
not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy
seed from the east, and gather thee from the
west; I will say to the north, Give up; and
to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons
from far, and my daughters from the ends of
the earth;
INTRO:
This is another great “Fear Not” promises
found in the Bible.
God has
promised a great ingathering of souls.
When we
look around us it is easy to become
discouraged.
We see
the sinfulness of our Nation.
Those who
know the Word of God can see the handwriting
on the wall of God’s coming judgment.
We can
compare the promise judgment to Judea with the coming judgment to the world.
We must
remember that these Scriptures are not just
words of
Israel’s history but they are words of warning to us in regards to our
spiritual life.
1
Corinthians 10:11 (GW) These things happened to make them an example for others. These
things were written down as a warning for us
who are living in the closing days of
history.
Assyria had come but God had
turned Assyria back.
NOTE:
If we fail to respond correctly to God
chastisement we will force to face His
judgment.
Delayed
judgment often brings greater wickedness.
Isaiah
had prophesied the coming judgment of
Babylon.
Jerusalem
would be conquered and the Temple destroyed.
But God
told them “Fear Not” He would bring many
back to Him.
As we
watch our nation fall deeper and deeper into
sin, God tells us, “Fear Not” there is a
great ingathering of souls for the Kingdom
of
God.
Four
things to notice:
I. IT IS
GOD WHO SAVES THE SOULS OF FALLEN MAN.
Isaiah
43:11 (KJV)
I, even I,
am the Lord; and beside me there is no
saviour.
NOTE:
Society can
do a lot to help the physical man, but only
God can save the soul.
Psalm
37:39 (KJV)
But the
salvation of the righteous is of the Lord:
he is their strength in the time of trouble.
Isaiah
12:2 (KJV)
Behold, God
is my salvation; I will trust, and not be
afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength
and my song; he also is become my salvation.
NOTE:
Not only does God save us from the judgment
of our sins, He takes our sins away so that
we will never face them in eternity.
Isaiah
43:25 (KJV)
I, even I,
am he that blotteth out thy transgressions
for mine own sake, and will not remember thy
sins.
Isaiah
44:22 (KJV)
I have
blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy
transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins:
return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
Micah
7:18 (KJV)
Who is a God
like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and
passeth by the transgression of the remnant
of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger
for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
1 John
1:9 (KJV)
If we
confess our sins, he is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.
II. THERE
IS A NEED TO GIVE UP.
NOTE:
For those who wish to be a part of this
great ingathering there is a need for them
to give up.
-
Their
mis-conceptions about God.
-
Their
self-righteousness.
-
Their
sins.
-
Procrastination.
-
Nit-picking. (a critical spirit will
keep us from God)
NOTE:
Once we become partakers of God’s Salvation
we have the responsibility and privilege to
sharing that Salvation with others.
III. WE
ARE TO BRING THOSE WHO ARE FAR AWAY FROM THE
LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL.
NOTE:
There are many who still outside of God’s
Church and it is up to us to reach out to
them.
Mark
16:15-16 (KJV)
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the
world, and preach the gospel to every
creature. He that believeth and is baptized
shall be saved; but he that believeth not
shall be damned.
-
Far away
in locality. (Mission fields)
NOTE:
A
church who is concerned with missions will
be blessed by God.
NOTE:
There may be those whom we may think are
un-savable but there are none outside the
limits of God’s grace.
-
Far away
from hearing the Word of God.
NOTE:
These are those who are good people but
never seek to know the Gospel of Salvation.
-
Far away
from responding to the Word of God.
NOTE:
Those who hear the Word of God but fail to
respond.
IV. THERE
IS NOTHING THAT CAN HINDER THE MOVE OF GOD’S
SPIRIT.
Isaiah
43:13 (KJV)
Yea, before
the day was I am he; and there is none that
can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and
who shall let it?
Job 42:2
(KJV)
I know that
thou canst do every thing, and that no
thought can be withholden from thee.
Psalm
115:3 (KJV)
But our God
is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever
he hath pleased.
Matthew
19:26 (KJV)
But Jesus
beheld them, and said unto them, With men
this is impossible; but with God all things
are possible.
CONCLUSION:
It is easy
to become discourage by the things that are
going on around us, but God tells us, “Fear
Not” for I will bring many into the
Kingdom.
Remember, since the time of the Babylonian
captivity, more Jews live outside of Israel
than live in Israel.
Just
because God is going to have a great
ingathering doesn’t mean that we will be a
part of it.
Let us
chose to become a part of that great
ingathering.
